Featured in designboom, the classy 350sqm apartment you’re about to see is located right in the commercial heart of Beijing and was designed by Fabrizio Gurrado of IS Architecture in collaboration with ARPconcept. Of course that it features some amazing modern floor lamps, or else we wouldn’t be so excited to show you this stunning modern project!

According to designboom “the designer blends modern features with the owner’s need to have an intimate home. Therefore, throughout the apartment, one can notice the ‘contemporary/traditional’, ‘western/eastern’ and ‘minimal/ inclusive’ features — resulting in an elegant fusion of styles.”

“In the TV area, the principal elements are the sliding panels which hide the television”. The panels are covered with sky-blue wallpapers of European damask silk and alternate with two golden screens, designed in a typical Chinese technique. Another focal element is the tripod floor lamp, which gives the room a classic element.

The dining room is part of an open space where movie, breakfast, dining, chatting and reading rooms all float in an elegant sequence.

The main living room was furnished with italian furniture and a breathtaking vintage Chinese carpet. Top that up with an iconic cantilevered floor lamp and you’ve achieved perfection!

The 350sqm apartment has a personal spa with a steam bath shower and a whirlpool double tub from which it’s possible to enjoy the original view.

The kitchen is a total white and minimal space. It was separated from the living area by transparent glass panels which allow natural light to get in. “The glass wall is gridded in white lacquered wood which softens the coldness of the all-white furniture”.
