Who is Marcel Wanders and why do we love his work?
Wanders is a Dutch designer that got the world’s attention in 1996 with his iconic Knotted Chair. His work excites, provokes, and polarizes, but never fails to surprise for its ingenuity, daring and singular quest to uplift the human spirit, and entertain. Marcel often mixes innovative materials and techniques with references to well-known historical styles and archetypes, so users can easily connect to the pieces.

The Farooo lamp is inspired by the Italian word for a lighthouse and its intense beam of light, which acts as guidance for ships around dangerous coastlines. Characterized by a sinuous, ornamental body and a contemporary shade, this lamp comes in three imposing dimensions and a choice of several stylish colors.

Eye Shadow is a floor lamp made of decorated fabric customized by Marcel Wanders. At first glance, this lamp appears to be a drawing of an Art Deco glass, with a closer look you perceive a multitude of eyes and pupils in macro format. The jet ink printing perfectly fits together on both sides and the composition of the fabric PVC and viscose, confer a color brilliance truly unique and valuable.
